The guidelines for the design of HTML newsletters are now extended and have been updated: more striking usage of photos, larger color areas and transparencies
   
New CD guidelines for transparencies for print and digital media plus updated templates for brochuresadvertisements and posters.

UI Kit: DB Interaction Elements and Code Snippets
 

To guarantee a homogeneous appearance of the DB Group within digital media, templates have been developed that
are now available for download.
The DB interaction elements library (UI-Kits) contains
vector-based templates for UX-UI Design, e.g. for designing user interfaces for web sites and apps.

Examples of HTML5 code-snippets (programming templates) help to efficiently add interaction elements and animations.
 
 
New CD Guidelines for Transparencies
 

Transparencies are playing an increasingly important part
in visual design and, especially in UX-UI design, have become a key element of the DB brand’s dynamic and contemporary look. There are uniform guidelines for the application of transparencies. In addition templates are available.

For digital media we offer a vector-based elements library, HTML5 code snippets for online applications and an
Adobe After Effects template. The templates for transparencies for print media are already integrated in the templates for brochures, advertisements and posters and newsletters.

 
 
Digital Media, UX-UI Design
 

The field of digital media spans a broad spectrum of communication applications. Depending on the kind of application and target group, the requirements placed on UX, UI and therefore design can vary greatly. DB design guidelines must be strictly followed in all applications to ensure brand identity across all digital media.

Extended DB color palette
 

The DB color palette has been extended: the tones of the DB secondary colors can be used e.g. to mark the mouseover or mousedown state and to color complex illustrations/Big Data or information graphics, on brand and CD conform.

 
New templates for DB newsletters
 

The design of DB Newsletters has been optimized and refined. Especially the title pages are affected by the adaptions: large color panes, the use of images and of transparencies allow for a more striking and emotional entry into the cover story.

Different title page variations are available. These are included in the templates. The InDesign template is used for professional printed productions. For newsletters, that can be created internally, Word templates are offered in addition.
